You can only import sleep data to Pokémon Sleep after linking Pokémon Sleep with the Health app.
Any sleep data recorded prior to linking Health with Pokémon Sleep cannot be imported into Pokémon Sleep.
In Pokémon Sleep, sleep data recorded without sleep stages (i.e. awake, REM sleep, light sleep, deep sleep) cannot be used. Sleep data should be 90 minutes or more and contain sleep stages to be registered properly in Pokémon Sleep.

Data without sleep stages
To record sleep data that will result in sleep stages being recorded—and is therefore eligible to be imported into Pokémon Sleep—try the following steps.
Apple provides full instructions on setting up sleep tracking on Apple devices.
1. Open the Health app on your iPhone and navigate to the sleep menu, or open the Sleep app on your Apple Watch.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to set a “sleep schedule.” If you already set an alarm, you can change the settings by tapping the alarm icon.
3. If you go to bed within the set “sleep schedule” time, put on your Apple Watch—fitting it snugly to your body—beforehand and your sleep will be measured automatically.
4. If you go to bed outside of your set “sleep schedule,” we recommend that you manually turn on the “Sleep” Focus on your Apple Watch before going to bed.
Sleep data that is manually edited in the Health app cannot be imported into Pokémon Sleep. Be sure to sync with Pokémon Sleep without editing your sleep data.
