Following the update on October 22, 2026, permission from a parent or legal guardian will be required for certain applicable users who wish to continue using the Pokémon Sleep app or create a new account.
The process for confirming this permission will be handled via "Kids Web Services" (KWS). Please refer to the on-screen instructions and emails provided by KWS during the consent procedure for more details.

■ Important notes to consider:
・ When beginning the consent process, you will be required to submit a parent or guardian's email address in the Pokémon Sleep app.
・ Before they are able to issue their consent, a parent or guardian must first verify their status as an adult through the KWS service.
・ In addition to the gameplay permission described above, use of Pokémon Sleep's Research Community function also requires separate consent from a parent or guardian. Please note that Pokémon Sleep can still be enjoyed without obtaining separate consent for this functionality.
